I see the world like this:

Today, I got back my International Finance mid-term paper and I scored pretty bad for the paper. I’m trying very much to get over it but whenever I think about the effort I have put into mugging for the paper, it is just not damn worth it. =( I want to get out of this shit asap.

Dedicated to Shasha:
Canine’s loyalty fascinates me and that is one of the reasons that I am so devoted to caring for animals. Before I met Shasha, I had no experience in handling dogs and didn’t know how to understand a dog. I always thought that a dog would be a great companion to keep but my Dad, the pack leader, would always disagree due to my health reason. However, this didn’t put me off. During September 2004, I was in my second year of polytechnic course when my classmate had an urgent message to pass around. He said that there was a female Jack Russell up for adoption or it will be sent to a dog shelter (which meant death to all dogs). Back then, I was seriously entertaining the thought of adopting it and no soon after, I found myself calling my sister to check if she was up to it. Few minutes of conversation, I cannot believed she got pretty excited at the idea of keeping it and the excitement caught me as well. I was overjoyed and told my friend to bring me to see this little one. The pet store was one of the stores at Railway Mall situated along Upper Bukit Timah Road. I could remember that I was so nervous and happy before meeting Shasha. Nervous? Because my parents were not in the loop. Happy? Because I was going to keep it secretly in my bedroom. Yes, it sure does sounded silly but it happened. Shasha is a female Jack Russell that was given up for adoption because a couple couldn’t keep up with her. That day, I brought her home. Unfortunately, it wasn’t not very-too long that my parents found out that barking came from my not-so-soundproofed room. Seven months-old Shasha was wagging her tail when my Dad saw it and she was running towards him to get a sniff of him. My jaw almost dropped to the void deck of my block. It was a terribly wrong move from Shasha and my Dad was extremely not pleased with the fact that I have hidden a “creature”. He wanted her to be out of the house immediately but you see, my Dad was a reasonable person (and he still is!). He gave me a week to do so. Jasmine, my sister, and I appeared sorry but inside, we were just thrilled to have her for a week. One week became a month, one month became a year and now, she is seven years-old and still as active and playful. I have to say that she brought so much pain but also immense pleasure and joy to all of us in the family. We love her so much that we could give almost everything to make her happy and well. After all these years, she has become part of our family.
Although I know that she can’t read my blog, I have to thank her and her unconditional love and loyalty to my family and myself.
Thanks baby.

The Power of a Wink of an Eye
With a wink of an eye, I must say, time really flies. It seemed yesterday was just New Year. Examinations ended today and I am pretty relieved with all the stress going on and rapid hair drop. (I’m serious. I lost 20 strands every shower.) Year 3 semester was the best year I ever had! I swear… =) School term was extra enjoyable with great friends. To mug with, to laugh with, to stress with. LOL. I made a lot more friends in school. They are pretty fun people to mug and hang out with.
I feel HAPPIER with you guys around.
Thank you for making my school life extra enjoyable and meaningful.
